In Perio Chart, you can print a variety of charts with periodontal exam information.
Notes:
Microsoft Word must be installed on the computer from which you are printing charts.
Printing charts for a perio exam requires the "Print Perio Chart Letters/Charts" security right.
To print perio charts
In Perio Chart, view the exam that you want to print charts for.
On the File menu, click Print.
If applicable, do one of the following:
If the Password - Print Perio Chart Letters/Charts dialog box appears, user verification has been assigned to the "Print Perio Chart Letters/Charts" task. Do one of the following:
If your user account has been granted the "Print Perio Chart Letters/Charts" security right, enter your credentials in the User ID and Password boxes, and then click OK.
If your user account has not been granted the "Print Perio Chart Letters/Charts" security right, have a user with permission temporarily override this restriction so you can print charts for a perio exam this one time. The overriding user enters his or her credentials in the User ID and Password boxes and then clicks OK.
If a message appears, informing you that you do not have rights to this operation, your user account has not been granted the "Print Perio Chart Letters/Charts" security right. To have a user with permission temporarily override this restriction so you can print charts for a perio exam this one time, do the following:
On the message, click Yes.
In the Password - Print Perio Chart Letters/Charts dialog box, the overriding user enters his or her credentials in the User ID and Password boxes and then clicks OK.
The Perio Print Selections dialog box appears.
Under Charts, select the chart data that you want to print:
Data Chart - Prints the data chart.
Pocket Depths Only - Prints the data chart but only includes pocket depths.
Graphic Chart - Prints the graphic chart (will print in color if sent to a color printer).
Combined Graphic & Data Chart - Prints the graphic and data chart (will print in color if sent to a color printer).
Exam Comparison - Prints the exam comparison chart. This checkbox is available only if you are viewing an exam comparison.
Click Print to the specified charts to the default printer for Perio Chart.
Note: If the Perio Chart provider was changed automatically, and you are printing reports for a new exam that has not been saved yet, a message regarding the provider being changed automatically appears.
